The St Galler Festspiele The stage at St Gallen for this production was very unusual in that it was completely asymmetric and incorporated several different levels and gradients. Complicite / Simon McBurney The Master and Margarita (Adapted from the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov). "Complicite ripped up the rule book and changed the face of British theatre for good." The Independent. Sound designer Gareth Fry uses a 16 Tag system for the setup of Complicite at The Barbican Theatre in London. The stage at The Barbican is very wide. Having correct localisation on the actors microphones really helps people following all the action on stage! (low res video from rehersal)

March 6: Parma, Italy

Stagetracker FX seminar will be held in Italy on March 6. TTA will held a technical Stagetracker FX seminar in Parma Italy. The seminar will be held in the demoroom at Italian distributor Audiosales.

Luleå, Sweden

The Norrbotten Theatre, based in Luleå north in Sweden installs Stagetracker FX. The theatre has a long history of working with localisation of audio in their shows. Stagetracker FX now does all audio movements fully automatically, replacing all joystick based movements and static cues used over the past years!

The Fela! Show

The Broadway success Fela! is using Stagetracker FX for their European Tour. Sound designer Robert Kaplowitz won the price for "Best Sound Design of a Musical" at the Tony Awards 2010 for the sound on Fela! Stagetracker FX was spec'ed for their European Tour. (After having tried a competing tracking system for some shows in UK.) A Stagetracker FX 16 system is in use. Only one sensor is in use to cover the whole stage! 16 tags are in use on actors.

InfoComm, Orlando, Florida

InfoComm 2011 was history's second-largest in Orlando with more than 33000 participants. This was TTA's first show in America. We got fantastic response from interested sound designers and consultants who saw the possibilities of using Stagetracker for unique sound positioning and creative development of sound effects. Prolight & Sound

In collaboration with Midas Digital Consoles and Mega Audio, our distributor in Germany, this year's Prolight & Sound was a great success for TTA and Stagetracker. We introduced our association with Figure 53 from the United States who develop QLab show control software, which now comes fully integrated and delivered with all Stagetracker solutions. Also introduced was the QLab / Stagetracker Matrix standalone, which allows you to work with the system's sophisticated handling of sound effects, and at any time later add on real time tracking.
